Study Abroad
The University of Maryland’s Office of International Programs offers exciting short term and long term study abroad options throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
While UMD faculty design and lead short-term programs, long term programs usually involve participating in student exchanges with UMD’s partner universities abroad.
Many factors will affect the program that is right for you – Education Abroad (EA) and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Center (LACS) advisor will help you find the one for you. You can make an appointment with a LACS advisor to find out what courses will be valid for credits towards the Certificate Program, and then EA advisors and Peer Mentors will help you narrow down your choices.
